34 Years of Elite Sable Genetics

It all began in 1992 with Dries Visser Sr., the backbone of our operation, when he bought six Imported Matetsi sables from Zimbabwe. The original goal was straightforward: to breed elite sable bulls for hunting.

In 1995, while exploring hunting areas in Zambia, Dries Visser Sr. encountered the iconic black-faced Zambian sables. Their striking appearance and impressive horn lengths immediately captured his attention—and everything changed. What began as a focus on hunting bulls soon evolved into a dedicated program for breeding magnificent purebred Zambian black-mask sables.

Over the years, our achievements have been remarkable. Starting with 40”+ horn lengths & 9” bases imported from Zambia, our breeding program now features giant Pure Bred Zambian black-mask bulls exceeding 57” horn lengths, with 11”+ bases. Each generation has strengthened the genetics, producing superior sables thriving in our herds.

We are proud to carry forward this legacy, building a lineage of purebred black-mask Zambian sables rooted in vision, passion, and excellence—one generation at a time.
